Clinton National Airport Prepped for Labor Day Travelers

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: August 31, 2012
Despite a $67 million construction project, Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is prepared for holiday travelers.

The Natural State's largest airport is expecting more than 26,000 passengers during a five-day stretch, which began Wednesday and will run through Monday.

Thursday was expected to be the busiest travel day, but compared to this time last year, local air travel is down 3 percent.

As always, air carriers recommend passengers arrive at the airport 90 minutes before their scheduled departure.
