PCSSD Lawsuit Put on Hold

It's up to a judge to decide if a union fight in Pulaski County should go forward.

Teachers and staff from the Pulaski County Special School District are suing for reinstatement after the Department of Education dissolved the union contracts last spring.

The unions have asked a judge for recognition until the lawsuit is settled, but those arguments have been put on hold.

First, the judge has to decide if the state is eligible to be sued because of sovereign immunity.
