A Pine B luff homeowner is upset over repairs which she says have left her house in shambles.
"This is where the sheet rock is cracking," Tonya Moore.
This is only part of what Moore says she and her mother returned to after leaving for several months to have their home repaired.
"Here's the mold and mildew," said Moore.
Then there's the laundry room she says is not level.
"And the water goes out on the outside because the water, the pipes are so badly stopped up."
On top of that, Moore said the repairs were supposed to be covered under her HUD warranty.
We spoke to Donald Sampson, Director of Community Development and also over HUD funding by phone.
"The cracking of the sheet rock seems to be a result of settlement that can be repaired. We'll look into that. And the unleveled flooring in the laundry room, that was work done 5 years ago and there's no longer a warranty."
Sampson, also said what the homeowner sees as mold in the bathtub is probably more of a cleaning issue.
As for their drainage problems Sampson claims is a maintenance issue and not a warranty item.
Sampson, said his department will help the family find a good plumber -- however HUD will not absorb the cost.
in the meantime.
"We are stuck with a house for 30 years that's unfinished," said Moore.
