The Arkansas Crime Lab has released results in the Chavis Carter case.
Chavis Carter was arrested in Jonesboro July 29, and after being searched, handcuffed and placed in the back of a patrol car, reportedly shot himself in the head.
The results from the autopsy say Carter's death was caused by a gunshot wound to the head, and in the "opinion" section, suicide is listed as the manner of death.
According to the Jonesboro Police Department, his case is still under investigation and more information will be released as they see fit.
