Dormatories were bustling with kids and parents who were dropping-off their new or returning students, who begin "Welcome Week " Monday.

Out at the honors dorm resident assistants were helping students carry in boxes and gave them advice for the upcoming school year.

One R.A. we spoke with said she's seen many families who find it hard to simply drop-off their incoming freshmen.

"I haven't seen any sad goodbye's yet," said Rachel Carlock, "I've seen a lot where you could tell the parents are holding on, wanting to go upstairs, wanting to stick around for a while. "

As a part of welcome week the university has planned events to get students familiar with the campus and Conway.
