Update: Driver in Deadly Hit and Run Accident Due in Court Friday

Authorities say, the man accused of a hit and run accident, that killed a
12-year-old boy, will be charged with negligent homicide while
intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident, Friday morning.
And as school gets ready to start, staff and students in the Greenbrier district are mourning the loss of Garrett Martin.
"It's a tragic situation for the school," said Superintendent Scott Spainhour.
Thursday morning staff of Wooster Elementary in Faulkner County, where 12-year-old Martin attended school last year, held a vigil in his honor.
"And prayed and shared things about Garrett," said Spainhour.
Martin would have started the 6th grade at Greenbrier Middle School on Monday.
But his life, was cut short after Faulkner County Sheriff's say around 5:30 Wednesday evening, 27-year-old Michael Fowler, hit Garrett while the boy was driving an ATV near Wooster.
Investigators say, Fowler kept driving and at some point one of the two men with him called 9-1-1.
The two passengers were brought in as well, questioned and released.
Staff and students at Greenbrier Middle School will be starting the year with one less panther, Spainhour said,
"We're going to have to be able to provide some nurturing to those students who were friends with Garrett."
