Family Thankful For Anonymous Donor Doubling Reward

Will money motivate those with information on the murder of a Little Rock teen to step forward?

The reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of Little Rock teenager Terry Bullard, now $20,000.

His family said Bullard had a bright future and they hope this reward money will help make the person who took his life pay.

Bullard, 18, was shot to death in May while out celebrating his recent graduation from Central High School.

Mourning the loss for the last two months said Secoryia Bullard, Terry's sister, has been hard.

"Like most people you have your moments where you cry randomly because you can't get over something like that," said Secoryia.

Bullard graduated from Central High School the night before he was struck by a bullet in downtown Little Rock.

His family said he was looking forward to playing football at Henderson State University this fall and was a good kid.

" We don't believe he was the intended victim or involved in the disturbance at all," said Sargent Cassandra Davis with Little Rock Police.

In honor of the upcoming school year an anonymous donor doubled the reward to $20,000 for any information that leads to an arrest for Bullard's murder.

"The higher the reward sometimes it does motivate people to come forward with information to help us out," said Sargent Davis.

While his family respects the donors wish to remain anonymous, they wish they could tell them in person what it means to their family.

"Let them know we're really appreciative of them doing this," said Secoryia.

They say Terry meant the world to them and they're glad others are being touched by his story.

"It shows that people's hearts are so big," said Secoryia, "And it means so much that someone cares about my brother, my mother's son, that much."
