There are new developments in the story of two former Little Rock officers charged with drug trafficking.

Mark Jones and Randall Robinson were released from jail in June, pending their trial, but now Jones wants the judge to take off his ankle monitor.

Jones is a part-time comedian, and his attorney says he needs to travel to support his family.

Court documents claim Jones wants to perform in Arkansas, Memphis and Oklahoma.

The former officers go to trial in September.
