Former Farmington High School principal Chris Webb was booked into the Washington County jail on Thursday morning.

He faces charges of aggravated assault on a family member, domestic battery, interference with emergency communication, endangering the welfare of a minor, resisting arrest and cruelty to animals.

Webb, 42, was arrested last Thursday after police found him naked and covered in blood, holding a woman by the throat in his home.

He was taken to a hospital and transferred to a second medical institution.

Webb resigned from his position with the school district earlier this week.
