The school year will be here before you know it and parents can save some serious cash.

This year, Arkansas' sales tax holiday will be held the first weekend in August.

It starts at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, August 4th and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 5th.

On these two days, state and local sales tax will be waived on school-related needs like clothing, shoes and school or art supplies.
