Animal lovers in Central Arkansas have the chance to help raise money for programs that give furry friends the chance to find new homes.

Grapes, Growls & Grains is happening today from 4PM to 8PM at the Clear Channel Metroplex on Colonel Glenn Road.

This is the second year for the festive event that raises money for North Little Rock Friends of Animals and the Pulaski County Humane Society while also introducing great wine and craft beer to participants.

Organizers say more than 100 different beers and wines will be available for sampling as well as some great food.

Tickets are $40 at the door.

Proceeds will support the animal shelters' adoption/rescue and spay/neuter programs.
