Walmart Neighborhood Market Now Open in LR's Riverdale Shopping Center

The newest Walmart Neighborhood Market is now open in Little Rock. A ribbon-cutting ceremony this morning made it official.
The new store, located at 2510 Cantrell Road, occupies a former Harvest Foods location in the Riverdale shopping center.
It's the first Walmart Neighborhood Market to open in the city of Little Rock.
It will be open seven days a week from 6AM to 11PM.
About 90 part-and full-time jobs were created by the store's opening.
The Little Rock store is one of four Walmart Neighborhood Markets opening in July nationwide, bringing the total number of this type of Walmart store to nearly 200.
The Little Rock store features a self-serve deli with prepackaged foods, a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as meats, cheeses and prepared foods.
In addition to the fresh produce, including Arkansas produce, and bakery items, the store will carry a full line of groceries, including frozen foods, meat and dairy products, and organic items.
There's also a pharmacy and an expanded selection of general merchandise that includes electronics, baby items and items for the home. Additional areas include stationery, paper goods, pet products, hardware items and a Celebration Station, where customers can buy gift wrap and gift bags, greeting cards and party supplies.
The Riverdale store will also feature a gas station.
