Two people are dead in an apparent double murder in a South West Little Rock neighborhood. Little Rock police are actively searching for the people who did it.
Police were called to a home in the 8100 block of Stanton Road.
Two men were injured with what police call cut wounds. Police say there were injured after a fight broke out at the home.
We know little of the victims except that they were Hispanic men. One the men were in his 40's and the other in his late twenties.
"Online Checkbook": A New Way to Keep Tabs on Public Money in Arkansas
A website designed to detail Arkansas public finances is partially up and running.
Backers of Transparency Arkansas.gov, include the Lieutenant Governor, Mark Darr.
The website is designed to be a resource for citizens and legislators who want to know where their state, city, town or school district get their money, and how that money is spent.
It was created as a result of an act passed last year in the Arkansas General Session.
The Department of Finance and Administration is tasked with keeping the information complete and up to date.
Fireworks Bans & Fireworks Displays across Arkansas
With 70 of the state's 75 counties now under a burn ban, many cities will have to do without their annual fireworks displays.
Many planned 4th of July celebrations will go on, just without a fireworks show.
