Pine Bluff and Hot Springs Authorities Track Down Murder Suspect

Pine Bluff detectives received information Monday afternoon that indicated homicide suspect Lester Phillips was located at a house on Hagen Drive in Hot Springs.

 The Hot Springs Police Department Street Crimes Unit detectives conducted surveillance, interviewed witnesses and confirmed that Phillips was inside the house.

The Garland County Sheriff's Office S.W.A.T. team and hostage negotiators were activated.

They secured the house and evacuated neighbors.

 After negotiations, Lester Phillips exited the house and was taken into custody without incident.
