Murphy Oil CEO Steps Down

The CEO at El Dorado based Murphy Oil is stepping down.

David Wood is leaving as president and chief executive and is also resigning from the company's
board of directors. Wood has been with Murphy Oil for 17 years.

Steve Cosse' will take over immediately as president and CEO of Murphy Oil.

Wood will remain a consultant to Murphy for a period of one year.
