The Arkansas State Police is investigating after a Cabot school minibus rolled onto its side and slid off the road this afternoon with two people on board.

The Cabot School District says the driver had swerved to avoid hitting a dog.

It happened about one o'clock in front of Magness Creek Elementary.

One summer school student was also on the bus. The driver and student both went to the hospital to be checked out, but were not believed to have been seriously hurt.
