People around White County may have felt the Earth shake Saturday after a 2. 2 magnitude earthquake.

The US Geological Survey says the quake struck 5 miles southwest of Rose Bud around 12:15 Saturday afternoon.

The White County Sheriff's Office says they did not receive reports of injuries or damage.

Earthquakes of that magnitude are the smallest to be felt by humans.
