Emergency professionals filled the Faulkner County Fairgrounds Saturday teaching importance of a number of safety issues.

Crews with the fire and police department put on safety demonstrations and there was a bike rodeo held by MEMS to teach kids the proper rules of the roadway.

Also parents were able to take advantage of an identification program that uses height, weight and fingerprints to make sure children are accounted for in case they ever go missing.

"With the dangers that I see everyday," said Michelle Wooley,"Kids being hurt and in accidents and of course kidnapped I wanted to make sure they were covered in all the areas."

Many told us the fair was educational but also managed to be a lot of fun.
