Crews Battle Apartment Fire in North Little Rock

UPDATE: Fire officials say the fire started in a downstairs apartment as a result of kids playing with matches.

Officials had to evacuate the building.

Smoke damaged the unit where the fire started and the unit directly above it.

No one was injured.

Original Story: Early indications are that the fire started in a closet and spread.

We have a crew on the scene and will offer more information as it becomes available.
