Marianna Arrest Made in South Fayetteville Shooting

Police make an arrest in connection to a shooting in south Fayetteville.

34-year-old Kasey Jones was arrested Saturday afternoon in Marianna (Lee County).

Officers had been looking for Jones since late last week.

They believe he was involved in a shooting in south Fayetteville on Thursday that sent one man to the hospital.

According to investigators, it appears a fight broke out at a party near Curtis and Fairlane streets where the shots were fired.

Jones faces charges of attempted first degree murder and battery.
