William, Emma Top List of Most Popular Baby Names in Arkansas

The names William and Emma are topping the latest list of most popular baby names for ARKANSAS.

The Social Security Administration today released its list for 2011.

The top five boys and girls names for 2011 in Arkansas were:

Boys:               
  1. William
  2. Jacob    
  3. Mason 
  4. Aiden
  5. Noah
Girls:
  1. Emma
  2. Isabella
  3. Addison 
  4. Madison 
  5. Abigail
Earlier this week the Social Security Administration announced Sophia and Jacob were the most popular baby names in the U.S.  (Click here for our story on that list).

In addition to each state's top 100 baby names, Social Security's website has a list of the 1,000 most popular boys' and girls' names for 2011 and a list of the top 50 names for twins born in 2011.

The website also offers lists of baby names for each year since 1880.
