Little Rock Women's Singing Group Needs New Members

A Little Rock women's singing group wants to know if you sing in the shower or croon in the car.

If so, the Top of the Rock Chorus is looking for some new singers and would love to have you join them.

The Chorus is recruiting women of all ages who enjoy singing and want to share the gift of harmony with others. Singers are not required to know how to read music.

Top of the Rock Chorus is a non-profit organization and the Little Rock chapter of Sweet Adelines International. Sweet Adelines International is a worldwide organization devoted to promoting a cappella, four-part harmony, barbershop style music for women.

The chorus performs everything from jazzy up tunes to romantic ballads with choreography to match the mood. They entertain for civic clubs, Fourth of July celebrations, the Capitol Tree Lighting at Christmas, deliver singing Valentines and produce two annual shows, one in August and one in December. The chorus also participates in a Sweet Adelines Regional Competition each spring.

Rehearsals are each Tuesday evening from 7PM to 10PM at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship, 7351 Warden Road, in Sherwood.
