Computer Power Day at the Little Rock School District Tech Center

From low speed to high speed a new partnership is promising to bring new technology to students in the Little Rock School District.
Called "Computer Power Day", the partnership designed to improve Arkansas' digital divide by providing low cost computers, internet sevice and online safety classes.
It's a partnership put together by the Little Rock School District, Central Arkansas Library system, City of Little Rock and Comcast Internet Essentials.
"This is just one more way communities come together and get resources and tools to familes that might not otherwise have them" says Bryan Day, Little Rock Assistant City Manager.
Computer power day will take place at Henderson Middle school -- May 19th from 8am to 1pm.
Computers will be distributed for 40 dollars a piece and internet service provided at $9.99 a month plus tax by Comcast.
