Man Accused of Stabbing Brother with Broken Beer Bottle in Harrison

A Harrison man is facing a battery charge after sheriff's deputies say he stabbed his brother with a broken beer bottle.
Boone County Sheriff Danny Hickman reports that on April 25, at about 10:50 pm, a call came into the Sheriff's Office about the incident at 823 Joe Arnold Road.
Deputies arrived on scene and found Manuel Gardia with blood on him and what appeared to be several stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.
Gardia's girlfriend, Ashley Schneider, told deputies that Davied Gardea, 21, had stabbed Manuel with a broken beer bottle during a fight.
Sheriff Hickman says Davied Gardea appeared to be intoxicated and was taken to the Boone County Jail.
He was charged with 2nd Degree Battery with bond set at $50,000 and bonded out a short time later.
