Body Found in Blytheville

The Blytheville Police Department is conducting a death investigation after they received a call around 10 a.m. Sunday morning, according to Jonesboro TV station KAIT.

A motorist allegedly saw a body lying off of the roadway on the Highway 239 spur in the area of the service road in Blytheville. They said the motorist then contacted police.

The individual is a white male in his mid 50's. No other information is available at this time.

The cause and manner of death are still being investigated.
