Local AM Buzz: "Delta Blues" Ring Leader Due in Court, Restaurant Reopening After Deadly Shooting

The accused ring leader in a Helena- West Helena drug ring learns his fate today.
Sedrick Trice, 28, is set for sentencing on two counts. This comes after prosecutors dropped most of the charges against him in exchange for a proposed 40-year prison sentence.
The drug ring, "Operation Delta Blues" was broken up last year and a grand jury issued 94-count indictments charging 70 people.
Restaurant Reopening After Deadly Shooting
A Little Rock restaurant re-opens today at 11:00 am after the death of a waiter.
Jesus Herrera was shot and killed Sunday night.
Four of his co-workers are in jail charged with his murder.
Police say Zeckeya and Kiywuan Perry told co-workers ahead of time they would rob the store and shoot Herrera.
A spokesperson for the restaurant says they are trying to come to terms with the shooting.
Both Little Rock locations will be raising funds, giving a portion of sales to Herrera's family.
Governor Updating Chinese Trade Trip
Governor Beebe will update Arkansans about his trip to China today.
The Governor took the trip to establish new trade relations and to encourage existing ones.
While there, he met with local leaders and national Chinese figures.
The Governor will hold the press conference at 10:00 am in the State Capitol.
