jay bakkerThe 'punk' in question is Jay Bakker, son of televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. He's talking about his mom's battle with cancer and supporting members of the Open Door Community church as they try to become red-letter Christians. Bakker says red letter Christians focus on the words of Christ, which are written in red in the bible. They also believe in loving the poor and reaching beyond the mainstream. "We are a little bit more of an open church we open our doors to everybody we are an inclusive church, not an exclusive church," explains Jay Bakker with Revolution Ministry. Jay Bakker's reality show will debut on the Sundance Channel on December 13th. The second episode was filmed at the Open Door Church.
