Three Little Rock teens were taken to jail Thursday night after admitting they were smoking "weed" inside a car at Two Rivers Park, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office (PCSO).

It happened just after 10:30 when deputies patrolling the park on River Mountain Drive saw two people crouch down behind a car and try to walk away. They were later identified as Ryan Thomas Hudelson, 19, and William B. Campbell, 18.

As deputies ordered them to stop, they reported smelling a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the car. A search of the car turned up a third person inside, later identified as David Clayton Wright, 18.

According to the incident report, deputies confiscated a bong, three smoking pipes and a metal container with suspected pot residue inside. All the pipes had burnt green leafy residue inside them, the report said. Deputies also reported finding a plastic sandwich bag with 6 white and black capsules with no pill markings or numbers.

The PCSO says Wright first told deputies the pills were his anti-depression medication but then changed his story to say he had planned on buying one of the capsules from Hudelson, who had brought the pills to the park. Deputies said Wright and Hudelson both told them the capsules were a type of "shrooms."

All three teens were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
