An Arkansas man jailed in the killing of a firefighter who was hit by a car while on the scene of an accident last month, is a person of interest in a similar incident in Ohio.

The Jacksonville Police Department says law enforcement investigators in Columbus are asking for help in finding a black 2000 Cadillac with Arkansas license plate number 356-RIW.

Columbus officials say the vehicle has been linked to Bryce Allen*, 47, who is a person of interest in a felonious assault that happened in October 2011. They say the vehicle was used to try and run over a suburban police officer at a Hospital.

If you know the whereabouts of the vehicle, you are urged to call the Jacksonville Police Department at (501) 982-3191 or send a text to Text A Tip by texting JAXPD plus your tip to CRIMES, 274637.

The photo below is an example of what the vehicle would look like. The other photos are of the suspect in the Ohio that were taken from hospital security cameras before the assault attempt.

*Allen is jailed on a murder charge in the death of Jacksonville Fire Department Captain Donald Jones. He's also charged with attempted murder for injuring two others at that accident scene, Fireman Engineer Jason Bowmaster and Police Officer Daniel DiMatteo..

I say we go back to public hangings, people see a few others getting put to death in a painful way and maybe people will think before they decide to do something stupid
