Few Return-Buyers For Hybrids

By: CNN News
Updated: April 10, 2012
A new report finds one hybrid seems to be enough for most car buyers.

According to a study by auto information company R.L. Polk, only 35 percent of consumers who have purchased a hybrid buy another one. That's despite the greater variety of hybrid cars on the market.

The report also found that hybrid vehicles make up only 2.4 percent of the new vehicle market as of 2011 -- down from 2.9 percent in 2008.
