The University of Arkansas at Little Rock
will make one of Bill Clintons favorite topics part of the
celebrations leading up to the opening of his presidential library.
"Racial Reconciliation for the 21st Century" is the theme for
a panel discussion sponsored by UALR on November 16th, two days
before the Clinton Library opens. With thousands of visitors and
dignitaries and likely Clinton, himself, in town, the symposium
will look at the future of race relations.
The three-person panel will be Sanford Cloud Junior, the first
black leader of the National Conference for Community and Justice;
Rose Matsui Ochi of the Los Angeles Police
Commission; and Janet Murguia of the National Council
of La Raza, the countrys largest Hispanic civil rights
organization.
