Arkansas State University has strengthened its ties with Arkansas Tech University in Russellville and Mid-South Community College in West Memphis. The Jonesboro schools board of trustees has approved a master of business administration degree with Arkansas Tech and an associate of applied science with Mid-South. Officials say the courses would be delivered by compressed video from the Jonesboro and Mountain Home campuses, and one full-time nursing faculty member would be on site at the community college. ASU president Les Wyatt said a growing need from the West Memphis medical community necessitates the program.
