Studies Say Your Children Don't Have Too Much Homework

Two new studies indicate american children may not be as overwhelmed by Homework as once thought. A brookings institution analysis of homework research shows most kids arent Swamped by homework assignments. In fact, the director of the brown center on education policy at brookings says Most kids have less than an hour of homework a night. A separate rand corporation study suggests only one in ten high school students Have more than two hours of homework a night. The research also indicates that figure has remained steady for the last 50 Years. The new reports fly in the face of recent theories that suggested homework Hurts family life and provides little advantage for students. The reports indicate american students should be glad they dont live abroad. International students normally spend about four hours a day on homework. Be sure to vote in our webpoll on this issue!
