breaking news
Meetings between the Pulaski County Special School District and its employee went late into Thursday night ....but no deals.
PACT, the teachers union, and PASS, the support staff union, presented the district with joint contract proposals Thursday afternoon. Heading into the talks everyone was optimistic, but wary.
While neither side would describe the details in the joint proposal, all negotiators agree there is positive movement. Still, the PCSSD reports its more than ready for school on Monday. When asked if fill-ins had already been lined up if theres a strike, Asst. Superintendent, James Sharpe wouldnt comment.
