UPDATE: Statements About Blood Prompted Pine Bluff Search

According to an affidavit obtained by the Pine Bluff Commercial, "several statements indicate the observance of a false wall inside the residence containing blood on the insulation. Also statements indicate that 'the body' was buried on the property at 5309 Faucett Road in a hole where bricks/rocks and powdered concrete were used to cover up something."

Police seized evidence from the home as part of the investigation last week. Authorities have no yet said what was seized.

Original Story:

Lt. Bob Rawlinson with the Pine Bluff Police Department popped the trunk of his car.

Signs a release form, and hands over brown paper bags filled with *something* taken from the home of Dr. Larry Amos after a property search of his home.

Now the bags will go to the crime lab.

"I can't really go into that, it's apart of the investigation we've got going on right now. but we'll just have to see what happens after that."

Witnesses on the scene say cadaver dogs went wild at one point while in the home.

What did that mean?

"Whether the dogs reacted or how they reacted, I really can't go into that. But they are scent specific animals they are trained to only smell human remains."

This is more information that citizens of Pine Bluff have heard in 18 years.

But Rawlinson says that doesn't mean they haven't been working the case.

Tthis case has never been closed in the last 18 years."

Now the case has been open to millions across the nation.

The cable network channel TV One aired a story last month on it's missing persons segment.

Laurell Hall says she wants to reach as far as she can, to keep her daughters name out there.

"It's been a long time to get her name out past Arkansas. I'm hoping someone will see it. Even if she see's it and says oh that's my family they are looking for me."

Something the Pine Bluff Police Department says it continues to do.
