Documentary Film "Bully" Opens in Select Theaters
The documentary film "Bully" opens in New York and Los Angeles today. It depicts the impact of school bullying on kids who are traumatized by it. The filmmaker had incredible access to children during unfiltered moments.
Strong language earned the film an "R" rating, so producers decided to release the film without a rating, meaning theaters will decide whether to let in children.
"Bully" will be released in more cities next month.
Report Reveals More Children With Autism
More American children are now considered to be autistic.
The Centers for Disease Control says one in 88 children has been identified as having an autism spectrum disorder.
When it comes to boys, it's one in 54. Three years ago, it was one in 110 children.
Many experts think part of the reason for the increase is a greater awareness on the part of medical professionals and parents, and more problems that used to be labeled as other disorders are now being called autism.
Mega Millions Half Billion Drawing Friday
With a record-setting jackpot on the line many people will be daydreaming today about what they would do with half a "billion" dollars.
The Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $540-million.
You can play Mega Millions in 42 states. In areas where you can't play the game, people are crossing state lines to buy tickets.
A lump sum payout on the current jackpot would be nearly $390-million.
