The body of a missing Bentonville man was found in Oklahoma Tuesday.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, 31-year-old Beau Pierce was found that afternoon along a treeline near County Road 130, a quarter mile west of State Highway 10 in Ottawa County, Okla. Pierce was last seen at the Bordertown Casino in Seneca, Mo, on January 24.

KARK sister station KNWA spoke with his sister Misty Deupree, who says authorities told her it looked like Beau lay down to go to sleep and did not wake up. Deupree says her brother was found two to five miles outside the area they searched.

The family plans to go to Miami, Okla., on Wednesday to make funeral arrangements.

Pierce's body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
