A Cabot school teacher has pleaded not guilty in a student sex abuse case.

Stacy Stracener, 36, didn't say anything as she left the Lonoke County courtroom this morning.

The Cabot Junior High North science teacher was arraigned on 13 counts of sexual assault allegedly involving a 15-year-old boy and former student.

Stracener was suspended from her job last month after her arrest.

The original police report in the case revealed that the alleged victim told his mother he and Stracener had sexual contact that included intercourse 13 times.

The report also showed that Stracener once taught the boy in 7th grade and was a friend of his family, often attending BMX bike races with them and her own family.

The boy now attends another school in the Cabot District, the report said.
