Tax day is coming up fast.

April 17 is the deadline to file this year because April 15 is a Sunday and Monday, April 16 is Emancipation Day in Washington, DC. April 17 is also the deadline for Arkansans to claim $8 million in refunds due from 2008.

Arkansans who lost their homes or who had their mortgages restructured during 2011 may be able to avoid paying tax on debt that was forgiven by the lender. Click here to find out if you qualify.
