Little Rock, Ark. (March 4, 2012) - Mark Chepses, age 35, of Des Moines, IA, has once again won the Little Rock Marathon - Men's Division.
Chepses, a native of Kenya, finished at 2:29:42, a little later than his 2011 LR Marathon winning time of 2:24:07.  Chepses said one of the reasons may have been the windier conditions prevailing at this year's event.
Despite the winds, Chepses said he "feels very good" about his race today, and "is very happy because I won again!"  Chepses says he will be back for 2013.
The second place finisher in today's marathon was Julius Kosgel, age 32, of Searcy, AR, with a time of 2:32:15.
Third place was earned by Zach Nyambaso, age 44, of Albuquerque, NM.  Zach's time was 2:34:47.
