An Elkins man who is accused of strapping a fake bomb to an elderly woman's leg in an attempt to extort money from her is now out on bond.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Paul Bradley posted $100 thousand bail.

Authorities say Bradley strapped a fake explosive device to a 73-year-old woman's leg in January, tied up her husband and then forced the woman to walk into a Fayetteville bank to withdraw cash.

Friday, Bradley pleaded not guilty to several robbery, kidnapping and firearms charges. His trial is set for April 24th.
