NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (UA Women`s Sports Information)-- Senior Kristina Andjelkovic had a career day, but it was her final game at the University of Arkansas as the Lady Razorbacks fell 94-64 to Ole Miss in the opening round of the Southeastern Conference Women`s Basketball tournament. Andjelkovic`s 14 points led Arkansas, 13-15, but it was nowhere near enough to relieve the pressure from a lack of outside shooting against Ole Miss. "Kristina played a great game and played her heart out today," UA head coach Susie Gardner said. " Arkansas shot only 28.4% from the field for the game, and hit only three of 23 three-point attempts. "It`s well documented that we live by the three and we die by the three," Gardner said. "We got some great games inside from our post players like Kristina along with Kristin Moore and (Whitney) Jones. But our outside shooting wasn`t there today." Arkansas battled with Ole Miss throughout the first half, exchanging leads and trailing by only one point at halftime, 39-38. The Lady`Backs had Ole Miss leading scorer Armentie Price in early foul trouble, but a 1-of-11 effort from the perimeter limited Arkansas` ability to exploit the weakness. "We felt prepared and the energy was there in practice and pregame," Gardner said. "We fought and we battled in the first half, but the second half was a different game." Ole Miss outscored the Lady`Backs, 55-26, in the second half, hitting 52% while Arkansas hit only 26%. Arkansas has double-digit scoring from Moore who had 13 points and a near double with nine rebounds. Brittney Vaughn had 10 points and five assists.
