Razorbacks Sweep Al Ogletree Classic
No. 17 Arkansas improved to 6-0 on the season by sweeping three games at the Al Ogletree Classic in Edinburg, Texas over the weekend ... the highlight win was a 5-2 decision over No. 18 TCU in the tournament opener ... the Hogs began to put everything together at the plate and on the mound in South Texas ... UA posted a .363 batting average in the three-game tournament and a 1.33 ERA on the mound ... collected 41 hits on the weekend ... had 19 hits against Stephen F. Austin and 14 vs. Texas-Pan American ... the Razorbacks also ran wild on the base paths with 13 stolen bases in 14 attempts over the weekend ... LHP Nick Schmidt (2-0) was up to his old tricks by pitching six more scoreless innings against TCU on Friday ... Schmidt has now thrown 12 innings this season in two outings without allowing a base hit ... stuck out seven TCU hitters and walked just one ... has 13 strikeouts and four walks ... the Razorbacks scored five runs off Horned Frogs ace Sam Demel on Friday ...
