There was no winner in last night's Powerball draw, pushing the jackpot amount from $250-million to $310-million for Saturday night. [Watch the next drawing on KARK 4 Saturday night at 10 o'clock].

Wednesday's winning numbers were 17 - 28 - 38 - 39 - 51, PB 33.

The top prizes won by Arkansas ticketholders went to 49 players who reeled in either $100 or $200 for matching four white balls, or three white balls and the Powerball.

In the three weeks since the $2 Powerball ticket went on sale across America, the "Bigger Better More" jackpot promises have now come true. The $310-million figure would be a 29-year payout of more than $10-million a year. A winner could choose to cash out in a lump sum immediately, taking home only $190-million or so.

The $310 Million jackpot will be the largest Powerball prize seen here since Arkansas Powerball sales began October 31, 2009.

On Wednesday alone, Arkansas sales of Powerball tickets topped $562,000, with gross state Powerball sales since the January 15 beginning of the new ticket topping $4.1 Million. This means Powerball ticket sales add up to more than $1 Million in scholarships in just over three weeks.

Powerball tickets are $2, and adding the $1 Power Play doubles, triples, or even quadruples lower prizes. For example, if you win $1 Million with Power Play added, you get $2 Million.

Arkansas Lottery Wednesday one-day sales of all tickets surpassed $2.2 Million, with $1.5 Million of those for Powerball.
