Updated: November 10, 2006
Stan Heath and the Razorback basketball team received good news Wednesday, with 6-10 power forward Michael Washington committing to the University of Arkansas. The senior-to-be is considered one of the top 20 players in the country and is rated the number one prospect in the Houston area. Washington is originally from Arkansas where he began his high school career at McGhee before transferring to Heritage Christian in Cleveland, Texas. Washington is a five-star recruit and chose Arkansas over North Carolina, Arizona, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
