$9.95 Broadband for Low Income American Households

The special pricing will be available from cable companies to families who qualify for the USDA free school lunch program.
The Federal Communication Commission is trying to make sure affordable Internet service is available across the country.
The Commerce Department issued a report today saying only 43-percent of households with annual incomes under 25-thousand dollars had broadband access at home.
More than 90-percent of households with incomes in triple digits had high-speed Internet service.
The national average price of cable Internet service nationwide is 45-dollars per month.
