Taking prescription drugs out of medicine cabinets and off the streets: Saturday was another successful campaign by law enforcement across the state taking part in national Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

At the USA Drug on Main Street in Little Rock the Pulaski County Sheriff's office set up one of three locations where people could drop off their expired or unused medications.

This helps prevent kids from intentionally or accidentally ingesting any of these drugs.

In all,128.4 pounds of drugs and 7.2 pounds of needles were collected to be destroyed.

Arkansas is one of the leading states for teenage prescription drug abuse.
