The Hall of Industry is always a popular stop for people who attend the Arkansas State Fair.

It's located on the back end of food vendors row, right next to the concert stage.

What you'll find inside includes everything from state agency and law enforcement information booths to vendors selling a variety of merchandise and tasty treats.

Taking a quick spin through the hall, we noted the following highlights:

Ozark Mountain Nut Roasters: Cinnamon roasted almonds and pecans, plus pralines and more.

Colonial Nut Roll: food stand offering caramel apples, hand made fudge, taffy and cotton candy.

Hand-carved solid mahogany wooden toys: cars, airplanes and more.

Handwriting analysis booth.

The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission booth: a huge preserved alligator sits at the front. A sign explains the 12.9-foot-long reptile was caught in Phillips County. There's also stuffed deers and a turkey, along with information on the other animals that call Arkansas home.

Booths for the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Arkansas Attorney General's Office, State Land Commissioner, Parks & Tourism Department (lots of pamphlets and booklets, including a state parks guide) and ARORA.

Law enforcement agency booths: Little Rock Police (includes a patrol car on display), the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, Benton Police Department and Arkansas State Police.

Home improvement businesses, merchandise including sweaters/jackets/scarves, Razorback gear, oriental-themed apparel, and jewelry.

Watkins products (since 1868): vanilla and other extracts, black pepper and other spices, home care products, medicinals (Red Liniment, Petro Carbo Salve, and Menthol Camphor Ointment), supplements, and more.

The Healthy Gourmet: live cooking demonstrations in seated area.

Sweet and Sour USA candies: Free samples. One rope of candy for $4.

Ag Adventure Zone (right inside the front door). Various activities, including simulated cow milking with a plastic cow. Other activity areas for children.

Historic Bridges of Arkansas, Arkansas 4H, Arkansas Skatium and other booths.
