Ernestine Middleton was fired on Wednesday, according to the lottery's attorney Bishop Woosley.
Middleton was Vice-President of Administration.
Woosley would not say why she was fired, saying only that it's a personnel issue.
Middleton is one of two lottery officials who came to Arkansas with former Lottery Director Ernie Passailaigue. Passailaigue and the other official, David Barden, both resigned last week.
Barden was the lottery's Vice-President of Gaming and had been a candidate for the lottery director's position during the lottery's formation.
Passailaigue was to leave October 7, but actually left one week early.
The lottery's Chief Financial Officer, Philip Miley, has also resigned amid controversy over nearly $100,000 in penalties owed to the Internal Revenue Service.
