Former school treasurer arrested for stealing thousands of dollars

The wife of the Perry County Sheriff has been arrested for allegedly stealing from East End School District.
Peggy Reedy is accused of taking thousands of dollars from East End School District. She served as the district`s treasurer in the 2003/2004 school year. The arrest comes after a state audit implicated her in the misappropriation of at least 45-thousand dollars in school district money. The audit indicates that Reeder paid herself 25-thousand dollars in overtime including duties not performed and salary payments to her former daughter in law which totalied more than 32-hundred dollars.
